Guys Don't Make Passes... (031)

Yesterday, a video! Today, MOLLY x FOUR! I tried on glasses at Target. They only had 4 pairs I sort of liked. I don't like #4. But I like the others. I'm getting new glasses soon, and I plan to wear them a little more often than I do now. I like how I look in glasses. My current glasses are just too small for my eyes, so wearing them for long periods of time is not comfortable.

Pneumonia Is Better With A Kitten (029)

My bronchitis was upgraded to mild walking pneumonia yesterday, so I'm home again. I'm on antibiotics (which are making me crazy nauseated, ugh) and so I've been sleeping pretty much all day. Trisket's keeping me company. He's a snuggly little guy.

Exhausted & Still Sick, But Managing (027)

Today was a busy day, and it really took it out of me. We went to two meetings for Vilification Tennis (well, technically the second one was for Fearless, but still) and then to Nick's mom's house for his sister's 11th birthday party. By the time we got home, I was really tired and I couldn't stop coughing. Stupid lungs.

Lauren's State Dance Competition (026)

I managed to get myself up and dressed and to the Target Center for Lauren's state dance meet. At this point, I'd been on a bunch of Rx meds for a few days, so I was feeling somewhat better and able to function for a few hours at a time. They placed 8th in the AA division and did a great job!

Toy Fair, Feels Like I'm Dying. (025)

Technically, this was Tuesday the 12th. I was so sick, I decided I needed some more juice just after midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning. I got dressed and was going to walk to the corner drugstore. I got as far as the lobby and decided I couldn't make it, went back upstairs.

Toy Fair, Very Sick (024)

Okay, this was Monday. I was very sick. I ended up going to an urgent care in NYC about an hour after I took this. It didn't go well, and I came back to the show only to have Bryan tell me I should just go back to my room. He was extremely sweet to say this. I went back to my room and spent the day and night in a feverish daze, coughing up bloody phlegm and totally not crying a lot.

Around 8pm on Sunday, Nick and I both started feeling awful. We fell asleep on the couches downstairs and didn't wake up until 5:30am. We both called in to work and spent yesterday asleep in a heap, occasionally getting up for an hour or so at a time. Today I am still miserably tired, despite sleeping for more than twice my normally-needed hours. I still feel really crappy and rundown, bad headache and body aches and flushed feverish face. My hair was dirty and I didn't have the energy to wash it, so tah-dah braids. Blech.

Lauren, the littlest Vilifier, is on dance line. They had their Sectionals today, and the rest of the cast has been planning to go and cheer her on for months. She had NO idea we were all coming, and she was so happy I thought she might burst. We wore orange and black for Delano and screamed our heads off for her. It worked too! They're going to State!

Beer Dabbler! Eric and Beth had us over to their house, where we bundled up and took the bus downtown to the Farmer's Market grounds for Beer Dabbler! We sampled many beers. I think I tried 15 or so. This picture was taken early on, like after our 2nd beer. Later, Nick and I got to see The Chalice AND Heiruspecs live. It was fucking awesome.

We had a Vilification Tennis show tonight. The theme was gambling, the title was "Your Mom Is Such A Slot." We played Truth or Dare for the last segment, and Bob drew the dare "Take off your sock with your teeth while standing up." Then someone in the audience paid $5 for a random draw to be done for someone else to do the dare, and Amanda was chosen. She looked pretty unhappy at the prospect of taking Bob's sock off with her teeth (can you blame her?) so I stepped up and took over for her. Because I'll put damned near anything in my mouth.

It's that time again. My hand pain (ligament troubles) has gotten to the breaking point and I need another cortisone shot. I was feeling pretty anxious. The injection is not fun to receive and it leaves me in terrible pain for the following 2 days, so I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.
