I got my hair cut and colored by the lovely and talented Fiona Burr. I just love it. The sun was so bright today, too. I like this shot.

Violet needed to go to the vet for her poor little red anus, so here we are in the lobby of Como Park Animal Hospital (one of maybe 3 vets in the TC Metro that treat ferrets). She held still for this photo, and I have a feeling I will always treasure this shot.

I Need A Haircut (003)

Yup. I have an appointment with Fiona on Sunday to get all fixed up. It's pretty shaggy right now. I'm glad I grew my bangs out, because it allows me to do things like go to work with wet hair and let it dry during a health insurance meeting (ergo the frizz).

Tired and spacey today. Also, I chewed my lip again. I have a terrible habit of doing so when I think, and when it's winter time and my lips have these tempting little flaps to rip between my teeth, well...you get this fetching look.

It's a new year, so I'm going to try this again. I'm hoping it will help me with my resolution this year: BE MORE CONFIDENT.

Here I am pondering a new start to my photo-a-day blog, despite already having missed 2 days.

Focus Changing Realization

I'm realizing more and more than this photo-of-me-a-day project isn't really going the way I'd hoped. But that's a good thing; you see, my life now involves so much more routine. I go to work 40 hours a week, I do chores, and that's about all. The occasional outing on weekends, and errands. It's lovely. It's stable. I adore it, truly I do!

So from now on, I think I will strive to a take a photo each day, but not necessarily of myself. Just something interesting that happened to me, or that I saw, etc. If it involves me, so be it, but it won't always be so.

I like playing with the built-in camera on my work laptop. I also like looming in the foreground of things, looking intense.
