I Get Silly When It Gets Late (012)

Around 11:30pm, I realized I hadn't taken a photo for the day. I'd just gotten done doing one of my many ridiculous dances to try to make Nick laugh. (It worked, but it was grudging laughter, so I had to do it more exaggeratedly and closer to his face. Those are the rules.) I was on the couch, drinking boxed wine out of a plastic Butterbeer mug (I do how I do) and took this photo.

Mock Up ALL the Boxes (011)

I spent 4 hours today making mock boxes at work. Mock boxes are mock ups of future games; Marketing prints out these high-quality, full-color pieces of paper on the plotter printer, and then I take empty boxes of the same size and glue the new game's art onto the boxes. The process creates a bunch of little triangles that I slice off here and there to make the paper fit nicely. The end result are these piles of glued-together triangles that I think look like a neat fancy fan or wings or something.

I let my hair dry with its natural curl last night, and this morning I put it up in a loose twisty thing. I usually hate my profile, but I think this photo shows off the hair, so you get profile.

A couple of years ago, Elisa and Kevin gave me this super awesome sheep. He is so fluffy and soft, you can't even imagine until you touch him. He sits on my desk and is keeping me company while I work on this ENDLESS FUCKING SPREADSHEET.

Just before taking a nice bath, while Violet hopped and scampered around on the bathroom floor, I snapped this shot. What you don't see is that immediately after this picture, Violet bit me on the ankle.
