NYC Toy Fair 2012: Valentine's Day! (028)

I wore my new pink dress for Valentine's Day, which is also my FFG anniversary. One year at my awesome job! I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend it (unless Nick was there, of course, because I *always wish he was with me).

NYC Toy Fair 2012: Finally In The Room, Relaxing (027)

Woke up at 4am central, flew into NYC at 11am eastern, immediately went to the hotel to drop our bags with the bellhop and proceed to the Javits Center for booth setup. 4.5 hours of manual labor later, we walked back to the hotel, got our bags, and finally unpacked. I am reclining, triumphant. If I look predatory, it's just because I'm very, very hungry.

Drew A Goat at Caribou (026)

The chalkboard at our Caribou usually asks a question, but today, it was blank. So I drew a goat on it.

Magic Garden! (025)

I bought a Magic Garden, which is this awesome cardboard scene that grows crystals. This is it, just starting to grow. Also, I am conveying the magic and wonder one feels upon seeing the Magic Garden. If you're wondering why I look so dumb.

Take the Skinheads Bowling (024)

Nick and I went bowling with a bunch of awesome friends (some of whom *are skinheads, actually). Here's us taking a quick photo before shedding coats and renting shoes.

Tube City's Fortifications Are Weakened, Brothers! (023)

I have a box of cardboard tubes in my office. They are the spools upon which the many, many rolls of labels I go through (printing labels for Barnes & Noble orders) and I keep them because they are sturdy and neat. I built a small wall of them. I think I could easily storm any castle behind such puny walls.

Magic Fortune Fish! (022)

Nick ordered something from Etsy and included in the package was a MAGIC FORTUNE TELLER FISH! I love these things, I've loved them since I was a little kid. Nick had never seen one, which is *crazy to me. He let me have it, so here's me in my office, preparing to get my fortune told by a cellophane fish.
