A Conspicuous Absence (021)

I didn't post a photo for Tuesday 1/31 or Wednesday 2/1 because I got a cortisone shot on Tuesday afternoon and the amount of pain I was in afterward was truly immobilizing. So here's a photo of drunk octopus trying to fight me in the doctor's office.

Awesome Sister Day! (019)

My sister and I went to the Cat Show, and then bummed around the Winter Carnival looking at the ice sculptures. We also split cheese curds and mini donuts. Here is a photo of us about to enjoy mini donuts. (We'd already eaten the cheese curds. Which we certainly did NOT spill on the ground moments later yet eat nonetheless. I don't know why you'd think that happened. Because it certainly did not.)

I don't wear much makeup. I put concealer around my eyes and on any blemish-type marks I may have, a very light pink gel blush on my cheeks (when I'm not sunburnt), and mascara. That's all. Ever. But today I forgot my makeup, and man...you can tell. It's been a long 10 hours at work at this point, and my face is showing it.

This is one of my paper robot friends. He protects my desk from the...uh...you know, I really don't know what does, actually. But he's very neat and quiet, so he can stay.
